Btw, and I apologize if this is obvious but I point it out only because I think there is a chance that it may be helpful: It seriously helps to know how a hero deck works before playing it. I don't mean, that a new player should be familiar with all the cards in the deck or even waste time flipping through it, but it would help to at least know how/why a deck is built a certain way.For first-time gamers, I try to give them the damage-dealers like Wraith, Heka, or Ra. These are fairly straightforward characters to learn to play because all your options or in your available cards.
But if you don't know that *its a good thing* to discard cards, playing Tachywon for the first time can be weird. If you don't how Bunker's modes work or you are expecting Visionary to dish out some damage, then you're in for some annoying surprises. Just a sentence or two in introduction can go along way.
"This is Tacheyon. She doesn't dish out damage, but she discards cards a lot. That's okay, because eventually you'll use your discard deck to do a powerful attack, and the more cards you discard early on, the better."
"This is Wraith. She's good at dishing out damage. Wickedly good. She hits fast and strong and she... well, she's awesome. But she depends a lot on equipment and the villain has cards that just wipe out everyone's equipment every so often, so expect her to 'reset' a couple times during the game."
