Sounds a lot like the thread I started too. The people in there (minus the arrogant trolls) gave me some excellent advice.1. play with 4 heroes!
2. play easier villans at first to learn
3. play good team compositions
Even experienced gamers can get it handed to them hard with a random approach to choosing your villian/hero set.
If you want to read some good discussion on it, look for the thread that starts with "Help!" lol.
After the advice, my group went from hating the game to demading we play it every session now!
