You obviously didn't look hard enough. The Wraith has the Utility Belt, which lets her use 2 powers a turn. Micro-Targetting Computer, Throwing Knives and Razor Ordinance lets her to do 3 damage to 3 targets, and 5 damage to a target, who may or may not be one of the original targets selected. She can use Stun Bolts to reduce enemy damage, prevent the Hero with the lowest HP from taking damage with Smoke Bombs, stack the Villain deck with Infrared Eyepiece, lower Environment damage with Mega Computer. She has plenty of options for damage and control.

I did scan it and I did see those cards. She can only do 2 dmg combos: the 3 on 3 like you said and the "destroy equipment to do 2 X dmg". Yes I saw them. If you read any of my posts you will see that I did.

I read your post. You evidently haven't read mine. She can do 8 damage to a single target in a single Power Phase, 5 with Razor Ordinance and 3 with Throwing Knives.

Problem is you have to FIELD the equipment to do all this. Only once I managed to get the belt + dmg boost + dmg and did the 3 on 3 dmg. Then environment card pops up: destroy all equipment! 3 turns for nothing. Oh... the the drones I dispatched they were back due to Omnitron's ability... Talking about pointless..

Well, other people will be happy to know that in Enhanced Edition, which is the edition on sale, Pervasive Red Dust no longer destroys all equipment. It destroys 3-5 equipment cards (depending on the number of Heroes), and you get equipment back when it's destroyed.

But it's ok, I get it now (from all the posts here). If I had X boss and picked X, Y, B and Z heroes that wore a purple T-SHIRTs and we played on the 3rd full moon while the wind was blowing NNW, I would play a balanced game. I get it! Thats what I suspected after the first game which my group gave up after 3-4 turns. Or as it's known to other people: BORKED DESIGN!

You like the game! Good for you!

This is nonsense. Against most Villains, the players can expect to win, no matter what group of Heroes they have. Against Omnitron and Baron Blade, they can expect to win even if none of them have any experience and they play in a tough environment, like Rook City or The Ruins of Atlantis. There are easy Villains and hard Villains so that players can play at the level of difficulty they prefer.

(Actually I remember having the opposite problem the time I tried demoing the game to a friend of mine. We played against Ambuscade, and the game was unusually easy even for that rather easy Villain. He commented that it was too easy and at the end of the game he felt sorry for Ambuscade.)
