More testing has been done, and I've made some minor changes:(the main post will be edited to reflect these changes)
Base power:
Formerly "discard the top 3 cards of a Hero's Deck"
New wording is "Reveal the top 3 cards of your deck. Keep one and discard the others."
this was done in response to the most common problem the Gremlin had of seeing her ongoings and one-shots go into the trash, with no way of getting them out again. This allows for potentially faster setup. Since Gremlin does not have any heavy hit single cards, and relies on combinations of ongoings and equipment to do damage, this has not impacted her burst damage output.
Scrap Run and Patchwork Plating
Patchwork plating is seeing limited usage in games, due to the relative scarcity of targets that meet the 2hp or less requirement. It is of use against AoE villains, or as a last resort to save a player.
I am making two changes to attempt to give it greater use.
Patchwork plating:
Increasing the HP requirement to 5 (which should give it greater flexibility in saving heroes as well as targets)
Decreasing the card count from 4 to 3.
3x Patchwork plating (2 HP)
Play on a hero target with 5 HP or less.
When that target would take damage, destroy this card to prevent it.
Scrap run:
Increasing card count from 3 to 4.
changing order of events, so cards are discarded first (allowing for potential card combos with "after midnight" if one fo the discarded ones is an ongoing
New wording:
(4x) Scrap run:
Reveal the top 4 cards of Gremlin’s deck.
Discard 3 of the revealed cards.
You may put the remaining one into play or your hand.
