Yes, the second time I've played him in advanced mode but it only made his devices harder to hit, and with high hitters like Unity or Haka he doesn't stand a chance. I really like his deck mechanics like the mines that will put a break on heroes that cause damage to every villain target, or the many cards that deal damage and cause the deck to be shuffled, causing the traps to appear.
But unfortunately, the Traps are more a relief than a problem. When they enter play, they're a lost turn for the villain, and a chance for the Heroes to destroy the devices in play. They're a delayed hit and, in my short experience, I've only got them to go off once.

I understand that stating that a Villain is under or over powered in only two plays the answer should be "just play him more, it will even out", but from what I've seen from what the deck is able to accomplish, I really think that he's weaker even than Baron Blade. He's unable to destroy equipment or hero ongoing cards, so he can only achieve winning by keeping the heroes under pressure by doing high damage constantly, because sooner or later the Heroes engines will start to produce high damage and he will loose. And, in my opinion, that's where the traps fail, they relieve pressure when they should keep the heroes in check.
