Precisely.

Fanatic's power also has the same advantages and drawbacks. If the villain has a single point of damage reduction, Fanatic's power does zero damage while Haka's would do one damage. On the flip side, those types of split damage effects get double effectiveness out of damage boosts. So it might be better or worse depending on what else is on the table.

The way I rationalize the "and" vs. "and then" (besides it being a samll game company and their templating across expansions isn't great) is that nothing is truly simultaneous in SotM. If it would be simultaneous you choose the order or you rely on the order the cards were played, and if they're on a card you do them the order they were printed. So there is no functional difference between "Deal one target 1 radiant and 1 melee," and "Deal one target 1 radiant. Then deal the same target 1 melee."

To be clear, Argent Adept's Scherzo is slightly different. It doesn't have to be the same target, but it CAN be if you want.
