Thermal Shockwave with damage boosting is even more insane than Coolant Blast. For example, Thermal Shockwave boosted +2 by Legacy (Galvanize and Inspiring Presence) and +1 by Focused Apertures deals two targets 4 damage, heals Zero 4 damage, deals Zero 14 fire damage which can then be targeted back at Zero for 17 healing (a total of 7 healing plus 8 damage split between two targets) or 17 cold damage to an enemy target which converts to 21 damage to one target, four to another, and 10 damage to zero.

If you get a second power use before the end of your turn, you can hammer someone for another 17 cold (yourself or others) but since that potential goes away once your turn ends and Zero doesn't have any "use two powers this turn" abilities, it's unlikely. That said, having Ra charge up Zero's Coolant Blast is great in many situations since Zero can ride the damage (some goes out as damage, other gets routed back to himself as healing) all while stocking up for a huge blast on his turn.

Zero's big weaknesses are: slow set-up time (three or four turns, depending on if you want NPCU, unless you get some card playing help), equipment destruction, complicated math routing for damage (I've taken to putting tokens on Thermal Shockwave and Coolant Blast while I'm dealing/taking damage to avoid having to track it in my head), and lastly that you can't use Thermal Shockwave if you deal more than Zero's current HP in cold before the self damage step (because you'll kill yourself from the fire backlash before being able to do anything with it).

Re: Fixer, as others have said already, he has crazy adaptability but is another one of those heroes that needs a different mindset to play effectively since he don't have an obvious single shtick.
