Session: Sentinels of the Multiverse:: 12 Enviroments, 4 heroes, 1 villain: Session 3 Plague Rat

Ok, so the wife and I started talking about how fast a high damage output team could take out villains.

We decided that we would use Legacy,Fanatic,RA, and Tempest.


Legacy because of his Boosting, Fanatic due to the damage output,RA due to high damage and some Boosting and finally Tempest due to the AOE power he starts with.

And we would play through all the ENVIRONMENTS to see how fast we could take the villain out. One game after another.


Turn layout was Villain-->Legacy-->Fanatic-->RA-->Tempest-->Environment

Villain: Plague Rat
Plague Nest to start with boosts his damage and heals him. A lot of ONE-SHOTS that do across the board hero damage and put INFECTIONS into play. He also deals 1 irreducible damage at the end of his turn.


First Environment: Final Wasteland
We won on round 5,Environment's turn. In the end there were 2 only Infected Heroes. The Environment monsters attacked PLAGUE RAT as well so that helped damage.

Second Environment: Time Cataclysm
We won on round 5,Legacy's turn. In the end there were 4 Infected heroes ,but we defeated PLAGUE RAT before his turn came around.

Third Environment: The Block
We won on round 6, Fanatic's turn. In the end there were 3 Infected heroes. The ENVIRONMENT deck cycled fast due to PRISON RIOT,but the Inmates were quickly taken out to the Tempest's AOE.

Fourth Environment: Silver Glulch
We won on round 8, Environment's turn. In the end there were 4 Infected heroes, but we defeated PLAGUE RAT before his turn came around. At the end TEMPEST was at 5 hp and FANATIC was at 8.

Fifth Environment: Insula Primulas
We won on round 4,Legacy's turn. In the end there were 2 Infected Heroes. RA was at 9 and FANATIC was at 5. FANATIC dropped WRATHFUL RETRIBUTION for 25 damage in round 3.

Sixth Environment: Pike Industrial Park
We won on round 5, RA's turn. In the end there were 3 Infected Heroes. There was 1 VAT EXPLOSION FOR 5. HEALING VAT canceled COOLING SOLVENT VAT area damage ,but it slowed down damage for all.

Seventh Environment: Rook City
We won on round 5, Tempest's turn. There were 4 Infected Heroes and PLAGUE RAT did flip to his PLAGUEBARER side. He then dropped the damage hammer ,but FANATIC countered with END OF DAYS, so that wiped the board of all Infections. Tempest was at 4 hp at the end.

Eight Environment: Ruins of Atlantis
We won on round 4,Tempest's turn. There were 3 Infected Heroes. PHOSPHERESENT CHAMBER came into play on round 2 so it boosted damage output for all.

Ninth Environment: Tombs of Anbuis
We won on round 4, RA's turn. There were 2 Infected Heroes in the end. Anubis from the ENVIRONMENT came into play ,but he really didn't do much. One TRIAL came into play ,but it did 2 damage across the board which helped us defeat PLAGUE RAT.

Tenth Environment: Realms of Discord
We won on round 4,RA's turn. There was only 1 Infected Hero in the end. ENVIRONMENT put out the card that made all Ongoing and Equipment have HP so the Area damage that PLAGUE RAT put out made it that a problem until we were able to get rid of it. It made the INFECTIONS have hp that was the bad idea for when they destroyed they would have dealt a lot of AOE damage to the Heroes only.

Eleventh Environment: Mars Base
We won on round 4, RA's turn. There were 3 Infected Heroes at the end. METEOR STORM slowed down damage for 2 turns until FANATIC skipped her turn.

Twelfth Environment: Megalopolis
We won on round 5, Legacy's turn. There were 4 Infected Heroes at the end ,but we defeated him before his turn came around. We combined Fanatic's SACROSCANT MARTYR with Legacy's GALVANIZE and INSPERATIONIAL PRESENCE do deal 10 damage to PLAGUE RAT on Fanatic's turn. We did that for 3 rounds and dropped PLAGUE RAT down 30 hp ,so it didn't take long. The only problem was POPRAZZI ON THE SCENE came out on round 4 so we couldn't use Powers, but ONE SHOTS still worked.

NOTES from the this series.
--I noticed that it was just a slug fest for PLAGUE RAT dealt the damage, and we did the same. It was pretty much a race of who could do it faster.
--We only got INSPERATIONIAL PRESENCE out 2 times out of all the games.
--I realized that Fanatic's UNDAUNTED,which prevented 1, if only 1 was assigned ,works against INFECTION and PLAGUE RAT's end of turn irreducible damage.
--I would always infect FANATIC first for if she kept taking damage I would drop SACROSCANT MARTYR ,but out of 12 games I only got to do that trick once.
--RA's DRAWN TO THE FLAME has pretty much been useless for the villains we fought don't seem to have a lot of On-goings in their deck.
