I had an instance where I was fighting Baron Blade, and he kept on getting his fire immunity stuff in play. It was very frustrating, and Ra ended up being pretty pointless other than being able to toss his staff at Blade, lol. Granted this is probably a rare case where Ra wouldn't work so well, but yes...as long as there isn't anyone resistant to fire you're fighting against, he can be quite a powerhouse.
