Let's start with the easier of the two things raised by CQC
Yes, it is 2 damage. CQC increases all damage by 1. What was making you doubt it?
Fanatic's power is not "do 2 damage", it is "do 1 damage, do another 1 damage" so any increases or deceases apply separately to both instances; CQC makes Fanatics deal 2+2 damage, so you missed out on a couple of points of damage there.
Absolute Zero(9) - Modular Realignment to get Isothermic Transducer and play it.
Now this gets confusing for me. So I use AZ's power to deal 1 fire damage to himself. But Cramped Quarters states to increase damage by 1 so I do 2 fire damage to AZ. So AZ takes 2 damage. Then Isothermic Transducer has AZ deal that much damage to another target. Do I take that 2 damage and increase it by 1 damage due to Cramped Quarters? I say yes, but I'm not sure. Anywho, Redistributor takes 3 damage. AZ draws Onboard Module Installation.
CQC stops AZ cold (heh), it changes the type of all damage to melee, which AZ can do nothing with.
However, if we assume that CQC is NOT out, and instead there is a 'generic' +1 increase instead, AZ becomes far more potent.
His base power would deal himself 2 fire damage, which Isothermic then uses to 'create' a new instance of damage, which is then increased again to 3.
If there are multiple increases out (say Legacy has Galvanize and Inspiring Presence out) then it would change it to 3 damage to AZ and 5 damage kicked out by Isothermic! (actually the same would apply to Fanatic, making her base power 3+3!)
As to a strategy, the only real thing I can see that I might have done differently was possibly have Bunker enter recharge mode on the first turn, starting with 1 gun and a turret mode might have led me to try and get another gun quickly.
But the thing I definitely wouldn't have done is discard Wrathful Retribution. All of your games have ended with heroes who have low HP, if you get Wrathful Retribution, use that to your advantage!
:ninja: Psst. It's Blade, not Blood, that might be one reason he's so angry with you...

Fanatic(10) - Plays Divine Sacrifice to do 1 damage to Redistributor, destroying it, 1 damage to Targeting and 1 damage to Monorail. All increased to 2 due to Cramped Quarters or is it? Unclear. Fanatic power does 3 damage of melee due to Cramped Quarters to Targeting Innocents. Fanatic draws Prayer of Desperation. Very appropiate.
