Ok. So equipment doesn't count as a "power" that's great.

when can I use equipment... Example.. Wraiths throwing knifes (1 projectile dmg up to 3 targets) is that resolved during the 'play a power' section or what? (so again using Wraith for the example. I could use a power AND use the 'throwing knives' equipment?)
