I've got quite a backlog of these, so bear with me as I get through a bunch of them. Not all of these are entirely mine, but were all made by my local play group.

Hero Bio: As a child, Lucien wanted to learn things. But moreso, he wanted to understand things, especially things no one else understood. Being quite an intelligent child and later young man, he learned at a phenomenal rate, but something was missing. He didn't just want to learn and understand what others knew, he wanted to dig deeper and figure out something new. And that's when he learned magic was real. Digging as deeply into it as he could, he learned that while many people knew a lot about the use of magic, none of them were studying the properties of magic itself. He'd found what he'd been missing, something wholly new to study and analyze, a secret of the universe as yet unplumbed. Spectacularly energized, and brimming with energy, Lucien managed to shoot through grad school and obtain his PhD at a young age, and began securing patents for world changing clean energy reactors, long storage capacitors, and other amazing devices, all of them with secrets gleaned from thaumaturgy at their core. Prepared to reveal his findings to the world in the hopes that others could rise to even higher heights than he had, he was stopped by otherworldly beings who had come to give a warning, offer a hope, and ask a duty. They gave the warning that the world would soon be assaulted by powerful magical entities, too strong to be defeated by Lucien and the world's heros, even if he offered his current knowledge to them. They offered the hope of more knowledge, the knowledge of how to create magical defenses against these entities. They asked the duty to take up up the Mantle, wield the manaforce guantlet, and stand as a Magus Maximus, Vanguard of Magic for earth. Though it meant sacrificing his ideals temporarily, hiding the truth from the world, he knew it needed to be done to uphold the ideal of ensuring a better life for all those who live on planet Earth and beyond. So Lucien now strives, day and night to improve the lives of every man, woman, and child through science, and protect them from those creatures that would do them harm as Thaumaturge, Ph.D.

Hero gimmick: Low health to start, gains it like mad, has damage redirect, HP burn to heal, and damage based off current HP.

3 Copies- Lifewave-One Shot- Deal up to 3 targets 2 radiant damage. Heal 2 HP per target damaged.

2 copies- Ley Lines- Ongoing, Limited- At the start of your turn, Deal X damage to one and heal one hero target X damage, where X = the number of environment cards in play.

2 Copies- Life Spike- Ongoing: Power- Deal 1 target X psychic damage, where X equals half damage Thaumaturge has taken since the end of Thaumaturge's last turn. Heal all heros 1 HP.

2 Copies- One Shot- Mana Burn- Sacrifice any amount of Thaumaturge's life, unless doing so would kill him. Deal that much infernal damage + 2 to one target.
