Ok, so the wife and I started talking about how fast a high damage output team could take out villains. We decided that we would use Legacy,Fanatic,RA, and Tempest.
Legacy because of his Boosting, Fanatic due to the damage output,RA due to high damage and some Boosting and finally Tempest due to the AOE power he starts with.
And we would play through all the ENVIRONMENTS to see how fast we could take the villain out. One game after another.
Turn layout was Villain-->Legacy-->Fanatic-->RA-->Tempest-->Environment
Villain: SPITE
Spite is a bear of a villain. His damage out put is one of the largest of the level 2 villains. Once he gets his DRUG machine going to you can't stop it ,for his drugs will damage the heroes for using their powers and prevent damage as well. It doesn't help that SPITE will regain HP from the damage he deals when he is on his TRANSHUMAN SERIAL KILLER side and the drugs all say SPITE deals the damage not the card. Then for an added punishment he has Victims that will cause you to discard cards, deal damage or let the SPITE play more cards. On to top it all off he draws 2 Villain cards a turn, if not more. A lot of cards in SPITE's deck are meant to bring out more DRUGS or victims.
First Environment: Final Wasteland
We won on round 7 ,Tempest's turn. SPITE flipped to Drug Wracked Monstrosity on round 5. I was able to get 2 Victims into the Safe House before the flip. Legacy,RA, and Fanatic were all KOed. PL626 Compound did alot of damage for 2 rounds.
Second Environment: Time Cataclysm
We won on round 6 ,Fanatic's turn. SPITE flipped to Drug Wracked Monstrosity on round 3. I was able to get 2 Victims into the Safe House before the flip. Legacy was KOed.
Third Environment: The Block
We won on round 5 ,RA's turn. SPITE flipped to Drug Wracked Monstrosity on round 4. I was able to get 3 Victims into the Safe House before the flip. No KOed heroes.
Fourth Environment: Silver Glulch
We won on round 6 ,Tempest's Turn. SPITE flipped to Drug Wracked Monstrosity on round 5. I was able to get 1 Victim into the Safe House before the flip. Legacy was KOed.
Fifth Environment: Insula Primulas
We won on round 6 ,RA's turn. SPITE flipped to Drug Wracked Monstrosity on round 3. I was able to get 2 Victims into the Safe House before the flip. No KOed heroes.
Sixth Environment: Pike Industrial Park
We won on round 6 ,Villain's turn. I was able to get 5 Victims into the Safe House before the flip. No KOed heroes. I got Legacy's INSPIRING PRESENCE on Round 1. SPITE flipped to Drug Wracked Monstrosity on round 6.
Seventh Environment: Rook City
We won on round 5 ,Fanatic's turn. I was able to get 3 Victims into the Safe House before the flip. No KOed heroes. SPITE flipped to Drug Wracked Monstrosity on round 4. I got Legacy's INSPIRING PRESENCE on Round 1.
Eight Environment: Ruins of Atlantis 3 ATTEMPTS BEFORE VICTORY!!
We won on round 5 Environment's turn. SPITE didn't Flip this on this victory. The first 2 attempts, the KRAKEN and DEFENSE TURRETS brought the beat down and wiped out the HEROES before I could get anything going.
Ninth Environment: Tombs of Anbuis 2 ATTEMPTS BEFORE VICTORY!!
We won on round 8 ,Villain's turn. I was able to get 3 Victims into the Safe House before the flip. In the last game I had 5 Victims in the Safe House ,but he released them all. In one round SPITE went from 15 HP to 30 due to his HP recovery. SPITE flipped to Drug Wracked Monstrosity on round 8. NO KOed heroes.
Tenth Environment: Realms of Discord
We won on round 8 ,Fanatic's turn. I was able to get 2 Victims into the Safe House before the flip. SPITE flipped to Drug Wracked Monstrosity on round 5. NO KOed heroes.
Eleventh Environment: Mars Base
We won on round 4 ,Tempests Turn. I was able to get 2 Victims into the Safe House before the flip. SPITE flipped to Drug Wracked Monstrosity on round 4. NO KOed heroes.
Twelfth Environment: Megalopolis
We won on round 4 ,RA's turn. I was able to get 2 Victims into the Safe House, but defeated SPITE before he could Flip. NO KOed heroes.
NOTES FROM BATTLE
--Fanatic's deck was pretty much useless for a lot of her cards would target On-goings or Environment cards ,but because of SPITE's MYND FYHRE he would destroy the Environment cards before I got a turn. I would just try to boost her damage output. The only good thing in her Deck was DIVINE FOCUS ,which let me discard the useless cards for damage output.
--Legacy's deck was invaluable for TAKE DOWN and HEROIC INTERCEPTION would prevent Villain deck draw and help damage prevention/recovery. INSPIRING PRESENCE always helped in damage output ,but when SPITE's drug PL262 Compound XI came out I still could get a damage boost and not use a Power.
--RA's deck I could combo, STAFF OF RA, IMBUE FIRE and Legacy's boost to help RA's damage output. FLAME BARRIER I could combo against drug PL262 Compound XI, so I hit using a POWER SPITE hits back for 2 and then I hit back with BARRIER with all the boosts.
--Tempest's deck again was just a damage output. He would use alot of One-shots for damage and ELECTRICAL STORM to damage right at the start of turn. Again he suffered from the problem of targets like Legacy for SPITE only had 2 On-goings in his deck, and I can't target Victims for they don't have the Keyword Villain.
--The VICTIMS of SPITE's deck were annoying. The easiest to remove was INNOCENT BYSTANDER for I had alot of Hero cards that were useless to me. GOOD SAMARITAN drew Villain cards which I didn't want and LOST CHILD would give SPITE hp. POTENTIAL SIDEKICK was the most useful for it let me draw cards ,but I had to be careful not to let it get destroyed.
